When life looks fine on the outside, but doesn't feel fine on the inside.
You may be the person everyone relies on – successful, capable and always holding everything together. Yet underneath, you feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected or simply tired from carrying so much for so long.
Together we'll make sense of the patterns that shape your relationships, emotions and sense of self, so you have more choice in how you live.
Perhaps you've spent years looking after everyone else. Trying to keep the peace. Wondering why the same patterns keep repeating in your relationships.
Most people who contact me have spent years coping. They don't usually look like they're struggling. They're simply tired of carrying so much on their own.
Understanding the patterns that shape your life
Many of the people I work with have spent years trying to cope on their own. From the outside they often appear successful, capable and resilient. Inside, they may feel anxious, overwhelmed or caught in patterns they can't seem to change.
Therapy offers the opportunity to slow down, make sense of what's happening beneath the surface, and understand the patterns that have shaped how you think, feel and respond today.
My approach is integrative, which is simply a way of saying I don't believe there is one method that works for everyone. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Art Psychotherapy and other evidence-based approaches, adapting the work to suit you rather than expecting you to fit a particular model.
You don't need to be artistic. Some people simply talk. Others find that images or creative exploration help express things that are difficult to put into words.
Why I became a psychotherapist
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent over twenty years in design, advertising and technology. Alongside my career, I also spent many years in therapy and recovery myself.
Having sat on both sides of the therapy room has profoundly shaped how I work. I know how vulnerable it can feel to ask for help, and I know that meaningful change begins with understanding yourself differently.
Today my work brings together psychotherapy, creativity and over two decades of experience helping people navigate change with curiosity and compassion.
Therapy doesn't have to look one particular way
Some people simply want a quiet space to talk. Others find it helpful to slow things down, work with images or use creative materials when words don't quite capture what they're feeling.
We decide together what feels most useful. There is never any expectation to be artistic.
I work from my consulting rooms in Central London and also offer online sessions.
